Personal Profiling

This experiment was pretty cool. At first I had no idea where the questions would lead to at the end with all those letters W, Q, X , and Y. The counting and connecting dots made me very curious in how that will be able to determine what kind of person I am. The result was pretty accurate, by the way I'm in the big C small I area. Conscientiousness-emphasis on working conscientiously within existing circumstances to ensure quality and accuracy. And Influence- emphasis on shaping the environment by influencing or persuading others. Everything that I do I always aim for perfection or near it at the same time try to influence and persuade others to agree with my ideas and way of handling situations with the goal of reaching perfection with no mistakes. I'm the type of person who don't really like to make the final decision because there's too much responsibility that goes along with it. I had experience that before where I made the final decision but the end result was bad and I was pretty much the blame for everything and that feeling was definitely not an enjoyment. After that time I really don't like to make the final say with anything. I only give advises, therefore D's not the group for me. This result might not me 100% accurate but it's near enough. The reason that I think it's not 100% dependable is because for some questions the choices were hard to decide because I feel like I fit in between two of the choices and I just pick whichever that comes first so it might not be too true. Overall it was a coll experience.

  1. I believe I worked with you on the Pizza Shop activity. I remember you did concentrate on the details quite a few times, so I believe the test assessed you pretty well.

I thought the experiment was cool too. I was having trouble answering some of the questions, though, but the end results for most people were pretty accurate. I'm in the conscientious category as well. I never liked making the final decisions either, but recently the dominant figures I've worked with took credit for my ideas and it's been quite frustrating, so I'm trying to become a bit more vocal. At the same time, attention to detail is an important characteristic that everyone should have a bit of.

  2. I do think you are a C because like you said, you aim for perfection. When we work as a group, you always ask "Are you sure?" you don't want any mistakes.

i agree with you that the experiment was confusing when we just started, because our answers were X Q Y etc. I thought it was cool and it is pretty accurate for most parts and I agree with you that if we should trust it to the point that we think we are a C or D person.
